What does the eqflow® emotional intelligence assessment measure?
eqflow® measures five observable dimensions of emotional and social intelligence at work: Emotional Awareness, Emotional Regulation, Self-Confidence, Social Awareness and Regard for Others. It compares how these behaviours are used day-to-day and under pressure, helping people and organisations recognise strengths, underused capability and potential overuse.
The result is a practical development focus for leadership, teamwork, coaching and professional growth.
The five dimensions measured by eqflow®
eqflow® treats emotional and social intelligence as capabilities that can be developed.
It measures five dimensions through observable workplace behaviour.
Emotional Awareness
Recognise emotions and behavioural patternsEmotional Awareness
Recognises and understands their emotions, reactions and behavioural patterns. Reflects on how feelings can influence judgement, communication and performance.Emotional Regulation
Respond proportionately under pressureEmotional Regulation

How does the eqflow® emotional intelligence assessment work?
eqflow® is an online workplace assessment that measures five observable dimensions of emotional and social intelligence. Most people complete it in approximately 11 minutes.
What makes eqflow® different?
Two behavioural states: eqflow® compares how each dimension is typically used day-to-day and how it is used under pressure.
Four practical zones: results show whether behaviour is Underusing, operating from a Solid Base, in the Flow Zone or Overusing.
Actionable insight: the report identifies strengths, underused capability and potential overuse, creating a practical focus for reflection, coaching and development.

What does the eqflow® report show?
The individual report brings the five dimensions together in one clear behavioural profile. It shows how behaviour may change under pressure and where each dimension sits across the four practical zones.
The report highlights:
• day-to-day and under-pressure differences;
• strengths and underused capability;
• areas where behaviour may become overused or less flexible.
The standard eqflow® assessment includes an individual report. Interpretation feedback is available as an additional service.

Where can eqflow® be used?
eqflow® can support development wherever emotional and social intelligence influence workplace behaviour, relationships and performance.
Four Uses:
Leadership development
Helps leaders understand how their emotional and social behaviour may support or limit their effectiveness, particularly under pressure.
Coaching and professional development
Provides a practical starting point for reflection, feedback and focused behavioural development.
Team development
Helps people explore how emotional awareness, regulation, confidence, social awareness and regard for others influence the way they work together.
Recruitment and selection
Can add behavioural insight to a broader selection process when used alongside interviews, experience, capability evidence and other relevant information.
Evidence-led, practical and development-focused
eqflow® is a normative psychometric assessment designed for workplace use. It focuses on observable behaviour across emotional and social intelligence and compares how behaviour is expressed day-to-day and under pressure.
The assessment is designed to support informed development conversations rather than label people or define their potential. Results should be considered alongside role context, experience, performance information and other relevant evidence.
flowprofiler® treats every capability measured by eqflow® as something a willing person can strengthen through awareness, practice and feedback.
